Features and benefits

This is a selection of the features and some of the benefits our system can bring to an organization, but, given the variety of implementation scenarios, some specific matters may be outside the scope of this outline. This is why, for any questions you may have, we encourage you to contact us and we'll be glad to provide specific information on how our system can respond to your needs.

To gain a better technical understanding of the mechanisms at work, please visit the technical outline of the system page.

Real-time data
Survey and reporting results can be seen and analyzed as soon as they are submitted, thus facilitating rapid trends detection and quick response.
Customizable targeting
By adjusting the targeting of each survey, evaluations can be as wide as the entire pool of users and affiliated computers, or as narrow as one computer. Similarly, for the reporting activity, evaluations can reach the entire pool of users, or can be narrowed down as far as one specific user.
GIS and other mapping solutions
Based on each project/program's specific needs and on the stakeholders' experience and expectations, we can provide data analysis and visualization methods to support better decision making, increased transparency and effective communication.
Compliance & fulfilment tracking
The platform can be adapted for tracking any specific set of goals. For example, we can provide adjustable templates for each of the 169 targets in the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) defined by the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. This enables programs to align their activity to the applicable Goals and to track in real-time the progress towards fulfilling their goals.
Surveying AND reporting
Surveys are to be answered anonymously, from workstations affiliated with the project/program and used by the beneficiaries (any number of computers can be used, from only a few up to several thousands), while reports are targeted at identifiable users. By combining the two methods, our solution facilitates management decisions based on in-depth analysis.
Data for stakeholders
Charts and document collections can be published on dedicated dashboards, designed to be shared with the stakeholders. Program implementers can provide the stakeholders updated and transparent data demonstrating their progress and ultimately building the stakeholders' confidence in their efforts.
Wide reach
Surveys can pop-up on computers, can be published on websites or in e-mail messages, or they can be used in offline interviews. Reports can be filled-in by logging on to the system or by following a link in an e-mail. Combining the publishing methods facilitates reaching the individuals affiliated to an organization, as well as the program beneficiaries.
Clear data
The system’s internal engine automatically crunches the data and synthesizes it in easy to follow formats (e.g. timeline charts, comparative charts and tables, formats exportable to established data analysis-software, etc.). Furthermore, users can customize the dashboard views, to make critical data available at a glance.
Tailored assistance
We specialize in consultancy for defining correct metrics, establishing appropriate targets and asking the right questions to the right people, thus laying the foundation for effective impact assessment. We can also help deriving actionable results from the data and can assist managerial teams in the conclusion-drawing process.
Lower cost of research
One of our main goals is to lower the cost of research, since traditional impact data gathering and data research both command significant expenses. Our platform satisfies most of the data gathering and research needs at a fraction of the cost. Furthermore, implementing a unified system typically brings additional savings (e.g. consultants don't have to travel to regional offices across the world).
Seal of effectiveness for programs
Usually, validation from the end-beneficiaries is the ultimate proof of effectiveness for the funders of a program. Asking the right questions can yield feedback that is a qualitative analysis in itself, and, aggregated with a set of correct metrics, it can be a very powerful tool for future funding efforts. Our system favors an open, transparent and democratic approach, allowing organizations to clearly and efficiently prove the real life impact of their work to their funders (or clients).
Increased efficiency for the internal experts
Since most of the regular data collection and processing is automated, the experts hired by a program or project can work more efficiently, by focusing on tasks better suited to their experience or on tasks that can be more beneficial to the needs of the project or program.
Unified or distributed roles
The user accounts management component allows distributing administrative tasks towards specific users, thus organizations can avoid over-burdening some of their staff. At the same time, organizations that prefer to maintain centralized control can do so, by using a unified impact assessment administrative structure.
Sustainability by design
Limited time-frame programs can ensure the sustainability of the impact assessment and associated activities (e.g. advocacy). Allocating administrative roles to local partners, stakeholders or legacy organizations provides them the possibility to continue the impact assessment even after the end of the program.
Build the organizational capacity of affiliated entities
Gradually transferring impact assessment tasks towards local partners, stakeholders or legacy organizations strengthens their organizational capacity. Also, tactfully empowering individual members of such organizations builds a volunteering environment with strong premises for sustainability.
Questions to suit respondents profiles
Flexibility by design makes it possible, if necessary, to address the same question in different forms to different respondents. Tailoring the questions to match the respondents profiles raises the probability of receiving accurate answers and can also facilitate data cross-validation.
Comprehensive feedback without burden
Striking the right balance between surveys and reports and between the number and type of questions in each questionnaire allows asking all the necessary questions in a sensible way that will not pressure nor burden the respondents. This mechanism substantially raises the probability of receiving accurate answers.
Flexible classification
The predefined classification is geo-targeting, but it can be replaced or accompanied by any other type of classification to suit the structure and data analysis needs of an organization (e.g. departments, affiliation degrees, age, type of assistance received, scores in evaluation, etc.) Furthermore, when employing multiple classifications, cross-classification filtering is possible (e.g. target permanent employees under 25 from a specific department in a country)
Tool for cost-sharing and partnership work
Having a data collection mechanism at their disposal provides programs the unique ability to build mutually beneficial partnerships. For example, cost-share partners could benefit from market or sociological research conducted by the program on their behalf, in exchange for their support for the program.
Cloud-based solution
Users don't have to install anything, as they access the system via the web interface, and they can connect from any location using any device. Only the computers on which surveys should "pop up" (e.g. public use computers in libraries) should run the client-side software.
Made to fit
The modular design allows organizations to use only the modules relevant to their impact assessment efforts. Furthermore, upon request the entire solution can be customized to address specific needs.
