Who is it for
Organizations currently working with Monitoring and Evaluation (Impact Assessment) experts or incorporating a dedicated department
Most likely, such organizations are already employing a set of working procedures and have gained some experience in implementing them. And this is why it’s equally likely that any such organization has faced problems related to training the staff on using a standardized approach for data collection, or related to staff turnaround, or related to some significant gaps in the staff members' skills.
Our platform makes it easier to address some of those problems, because once a methodology is set online, it is guaranteed to be applied everywhere in a standardized way. At the same time we provide dedicated solutions for some specific tasks (automated surveys, in-person interviews, reports), so that the respective tasks can be assigned to staff members with lower level of expertise, while the experts (or the dedicated staff) will only have to manage the whole process. This eliminates the substantial travel expenses commanded by the in-person trainings typically required for simply making sure all the staff members are on the same page, and also limits the need to perform quality data audit on their input. Furthermore, it becomes possible to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis at any time with no additional costs, or at least with significantly smaller costs.
Organizations interested in conducting Monitoring and Evaluation (Impact Assessment), but currently not experienced in this field
There is a long list of reasons that can force an organization to limit their Monitoring and Evaluation (Impact Assessment) efforts despite their acknowledgment of the substantial potential benefits. Insufficient in-house expertise, not enough resources to hire external consultants, conflicting priorities - any of these can be a serious roadblock. However, our solution addresses some of these barriers, as an organization can choose either one of the yearly subscriptions for continuous M&E or they can choose to perform only one research to get a snapshot of their status (case in which, if necessary, they can repeat the research whenever they see fit). Furthermore, for such organizations we can even provide the required assistance, ranging from helping defining the key metrics they need to measure, to creating their own Monitoring and Evaluation system, or to training and coaching their own staff, and all to way to us acting as an externalized Monitoring and Evaluation department.
International donors
Typically, international donors need to make sure their grantees are accurately collecting and processing data in order to support an efficient decision making process which ultimately leads to an impactful implementation of projects or programs. Acknowledging this, we have designed our tools to natively assist this process. For example, the grantees can create a dashboard instance dedicated to share some of the most relevant achievements or some of the key indicators with their donors – using this feature, the donor can be granted direct online access to a real-time synthesis of specific data, thus facilitating the communication between the two parties and greatly improving the transparency. A donor organization may have a dashboard where to easily access the main information from one grantee, several grantees or all grantees in an area or working on a specific field. These dashboards can be linked to the grantees' accounts on our portal and can automatically be updated whenever the grantees update the information or when new data is available, making it an efficient way of communicating with grantees and staying connected to the in-field work and achievements.
